Marrakech for nature-lovers
Did you know? Marrakech is not only an enchanting city but also an ideal region for enjoying the perfect nature experience. Many excursions await children and adults, just a short journey from the hotels and pleasures of the city and offering a refreshing break.
You could take an excursion into the Ourika region for instance. This very well preserved, lush green plain provides a sublime landscape with its chequered panorama of crops. Its walks, interspersed with the occasional swim, are truly delightful.

Explore the Berber side of Morocco!
In the heart of the Ourika valley where the small village of Tafza is located, there is a Berber eco-museum which boosts many treasures. The museum which is set in "Talberj" an entirely earth ware restored tower displays a collection of pottery, carpets, jewellery and ancient photography aimed at preserving and enhancing the Berber culture. One can watch the first coloured films shot in the high Atlas by the film director Daniel Chicault.
